Before founding Thornbury Capital Advisors, Jace Christensen served as Vice President and a founding member of Rialto Developer Capital, which invests private equity in joint venture land development and home-building opportunities nationwide. Projects range from custom, single family homes to mixed-use master-planned communities. Rialto Capital Management, a subsidiary of international homebuilder, Lennar Homes, is a top real estate investment company based in Miami, FL with seven offices and +400 professionals.
Jace has extensive experience in real estate, corporate finance and investment management with an expertise in financial modeling and valuation methodologies. Prior to joining Rialto, she was a research analyst at Shenkman Capital Management, a multi-billion-dollar bond firm in NYC, where she provided credit analysis and investment guidance to portfolio managers on the distressed debt of over 150 high-yield companies within the auto, consumer products, utilities, paper & packaging, and metals & mining industries. Prior to joining Shenkman, she was an investment associate for a NYC-based family office, where she oversaw fundraising, investor relations and fund accounting for Gems Advisors, a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds in London. She began her career in finance as a private wealth advisor for ultra high net worth clients at UBS in Dallas, TX.
Jace graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University with a BS/BA in International Economics and Psychology. She is an active member of Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Home Builders. She resides with her husband Marcus and three children in Dallas.
